One of the most fun decisions you'll make about your wedding day is the dress you choose to walk down the aisle in. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, so it has to be perfect and encompass your own personal style! No pressure, right? When I began styling this dress, I knew I wanted to do something meaningful, because that's what is so important to me about helping couples with their weddings. I absolutely adore creating something special for couples that means something to them and that they will cherish for the rest of their lives. When I got married, I wore my grandmother's earrings and tied a locket with her photo in it around my bouquet. I'm all about making sure every little detail of your wedding is created with intention and care. That's what this style below is all about to me.
I envisioned the bride choosing this dress for it's subtle details. A little femininity in the lace and ruffle details and a little modern flair with the structured cut. In this passport to style, my (imaginary) couple is getting married at River Oaks in Charleston, South Carolina - one of my favorite venues in the southeast! (And they have hearts of gold, y'all).

The earrings reminded me of vintage hand-me-downs like my grandmother's - a wonderful way to add a personalized and special touch to your wedding day style. The subdued shoes are a perfect style for an outdoor wedding in the south - classy and feminine but not so high you'll get stuck in the grass! The clutch is, oh so special to me. Jamie, owner of Eclu, is an amazing artist and handmade my own wedding day clutch, so there was no question I'd want to include one of her amazing designs in this style.
