A Woodland Spring Celebration
The day before Hannah and Gunnar’s outdoor wedding this past May, it poured. I think even that is an understatement. I looked like I had just stepped out of the pool. The morning of their wedding, it poured even more. I think everyone was just a wee bit nervous about their outdoor ceremony with absolutely zero cover overhead, and their outdoor reception with very minimal cover. I remember taking photos of my shoes and legs because I was covered in mud, and it’s just one of those moments you have to laugh, right? Okay, maybe not at the time.
But just hours before the ceremony was to start, the clouds parted, the sun peeked out, and it turned out to be the most beautiful spring day. The best part? The grass was so incredibly green and everything was glistening and magical, which provided the perfect backdrop for their gorgeous woodland wedding!
Today, I’m so excited to share some highlights from their wedding day with you, complete with mustard yellow bridesmaid jumpsuits, beeswax candles, cakes made by the bride’s grandmother, and some of the sweetest moments captured on camera that I know these two will cherish forever!
